Seal Script · Cui Hao, Song of Changgan III

'At dusk on the long river, we call one another back to the ferry. The falling blossoms, if they have a mind, go and come chasing the light boat.' (In seal script several of these characters are written in their older forms, so that is how I set them out.) The signature — 'an old poem, written by Chen Qiushi at ten' — has never been changed. My hand shook back then and the strokes were uneven in weight, but I spent a long time over every character.
