Copying the Cao Quan Stele
The Cao Quan Stele is the finest of the Han clerical steles — crisp strokes, open spacing, silkworm-heads and swallow-tails laid out plain as day. I copied it passage by passage into vertical panels; what remains here are three photographs taken on site, three panels to each, read vertically and from right to left.
