Writing Spring Couplets

For New Year I write couplets for the family, and I have also picked up a pile of jokes online and written them out as couplets — the respectable ones wish fu and peace; the disreputable ones read 'Lissome, fine-eyed, arched-browed — a genuine siren; broad-waisted, round-faced — a counterfeit heartthrob', and I even thought up a horizontal scroll to top them. Couplets have to follow the fold lines, and once a stroke goes down it cannot be taken back — a ruined sheet is simply a new sheet.
